Charta Web release on the 31st of August 2007
Sending e-mails
It is now possible to send e-mails from your Charta Website completely in the style of your site. This is currently implemented in two ways:-
'Forgot password':
If a registered user has forgotten his/her password, the 'Forgot password' function is now operational. The user must fill in a registered e-mail address and then a new password will be sent to this address.
-
'Send as e-mail':
All website articles now show the feature 'Send as e-mail':
Now the whole article can be sent via e-mail, completely in style of your website. Regular users will have to manually enter an e-mailaddress / emailaddresses (comma separated), but administrators will also be able to select users from the website userlist. This could be easily used for sending newsletters to your website subscribers! Example:
Language
As you probably noticed: two flags are showing in the top right corner of your website:
These flags are selectors for the language of the website. Unfortunately, articles and messages are not multi-lingual yet, but e.g. all module titles, menu names, item-options can be shown in Dutch or English.
Text markup support
If you are creating or editing articles and messages, it is possible to use 'markup tags' (explained in this article). If an error was made however, this was not indicated and it sometimes even resulted in the page not showing at all.
Now, an error message (Parse error) will show at the location of the tag, where an error has been made. The type of error will be displayed as well, so you will know what to fix:
