BIVAS has had a new release on the BIVAS website. The most important added feature is that a fleet mutation can be performed. Next to that the data concerning the inland waterways is updated.
BIVAS, a tool to analyze the shipping on the inland waterways in the Netherlands, has had a new release. It is available on the BIVAS website.
This release features:
- the use of trip calibrations,
- the possibility to incorporate a fleet mutation,
- the choice of an optimization criterium (time or costs),
- the adjustment (when needed) of the load of trips to the circumstances at hand,
- the selection of seasons and trips that must be analyzed,
- the flexible feasibility of a dam,
- the update of waterlevels and current speed,
- the extension of the output of an analyses with travelcosts and distance.
