For TNO Built Environment and Geosciences a supply chain simulator is built. The application simulates all logistic activities in supply chains like customers orders, order processing at suppliers, inventory management and transport planning. With the simulator it is possible to investigate inventory, order and transport policies to minimize logistical costs while maintaining a given service.
